Frequently asked questions

  • Will Waxing hurt?

Since we are doing hair removal, there is some pain. But I have been trained to try to reduce the amount of pain and I will do my best to make you comfortable.

  • What can I do to get the best results from my body waxing appointment?

Making sure that you have at least 3 weeks of growth to be waxed is very crucial. The hairs need to be long enough so that the wax can pull it out. But you also don’t want them to be too long, because that can result in a more painful waxing session. Also, exfoliating the area the night before is always a good idea. This helps all the little hairs to stand up and not be trapped under any skin. This way we can get as many hairs as possible with out having to tweeze.

  • What could help a brow or face wax service?

ALWAY, ALWAYS let your esthetician know if you are on any type of retinols, AHA’s, BHA’s, acne medication, antibiotics, or Accutane. If you are using any of these, then it could cause skin lifting. This will make the skin sensitive in that spot and red. Hyperpigmentation could occur. This why it is best to let your esthetician know what you are using so that we can make the proper adjustments. But if you are on Accutane, you can NOT get waxed anywhere on your body until you are 6 months out from taking your last dose.

  • Can I get Brazilian or Bikini waxing done when I am on my period?

Yes. All I ask is that you wear a tampon or cup during the service.

  • Do you perform Brazilian waxes on people with male genitalia?

Unfortunately, I do not offer Brazilian waxing on people with male genitalia. I am planning to be trained on this area of waxing before the end of this year (2023).
